We fish the Western Basin for Walleyes out of Meinke Marina West, 10 miles East of Toledo, and fish for Jumbo Yellow Perch out of Valley Harbor Marina in Vermilion, Ohio.

Features:

• The boat is an 11 ft. wide, 32 ft long Marinette, with a private head.
• Large back deck area and bow to fish from.
• We carry ship to shore radio telephones and CB radios for maximum safety and convenience.
• We are in contact with other water craft and Coast Guard at all times.
• We have safety inspections performed yearly by the Coast Guard and the Ohio Division of Water Craft.
• Latest electronic fish finding equipment, GPS equipment, and top quallty fishing tackle aboard.

Captains Notes:

• Walleye is our prime target. April through July are our most productive times.
• Jumbo Yellow Perch is our prime target August through October.
• Our main method of walleye fishing is drifting and casting with weight forward spinners.
• Our main method for jumbo perch fishing is anchoring and using ultra light tackle.
• A valid Ohio fishing license is required for all persons fishing.
• Bring a cooler to take your days catch of fish home in.
• Coolers aboard for food and fish.
• Bring your favorite rod and reel (medium to medium heavy action, 8-10 lb test for walleye, and ultra light reds for perch .
• Fish cleaning is the party's responsibility.
• We have private facilities aboard.
• You should bring rain gear and extra clothing for changing weather conditions.
• Soft rubber soled shoes must be worn for safety. No black soled shoes!
• Don't forget your camera.
• Bring your own food and beverages.
• Bookings are first come first serve basis.

Motion Sickness

Nothing can ruin your fishing trip quicker than motion sickness. If you have a tendency toward motion sickness, please take a motion sickness pill or patch before your trip.

Call Early For Choice Reservations

A $100.00 advance deposit is required and will be refunded on prior 3 weeks of cancellation by party or by Captain's decision of bad weather. If your party fails to show on time and date, the boat will wait for one hour. We will try to let you know if bad weather is in the forecast before you depart from home. If we cancel your trip we will rebook your date or refund your deposit, whichever you prefer. NO REFUND on Executive Charters. Same rates apply for one or six persons. You are welcome to use our rods and reels, but if you lose our equipment, you buy it.
